They’re not trying to hear this. Just look at this thread if you wanna know. Not sure how many of them are black men but yeah around pg 7/8 it just goes downhill

That thread def went downhill lol I understand the point people are trying to make too but why is it so hard to just make the point without being condescending towards black men...

Just say, black males benefit from certain male privileges. All of the extra black men are white people bullshit is asking for conflict and for people to miss your point

I'm whatever about how it's said because I understand the point. However, I agree because of what I see the majority of black men don't like the phrasing.

The sad part is there are a lot of black men who still ain't even tryna hear it even if it's presented to them respectfully

I actually agree with both of them the privilege lies in us being males right? Also, why the addition of straight, do gay males not benefit from being men?

adding the “straight black” is excessive because all men benefit from being men there’s no need for specifics tbh

Gay black men do have that privilege for being a man for sure. It's just that once it's known they're gay they are now in that targeted group of being gay and black.

At least that's what I have read and have been told. Personally though, I'm still lookin and treating a gay black man like any other nigga lol

You are delusional if you think gay black men aren’t treated very differently than straight black men by black men and women

See I agree with that there. My thing is when I interact with another black man their sexuality is something I don't really pay attention to for lack of a better word. I feel like most people do that because before it's even known that they are gay, the fact that they are a black male is evident before anything else.

Be that as it may the fact still stands that all males benefit from the privilege no matter the sexual preference of said male

No I also have an issue with how they said niggas don’t do s***, and that somehow all black women are always suffering, I thought the whole thing was dumb, but if they was really tryna get they message out to people they wouldn’t have went with that clickbait ass title
