i like his take on isaac needing to quit the band being a big theme on the album

really contextualises the last line on the album, if its about the fans’ interest in him and the band and how that pressure would weigh on him

‘your generous loan to me, your crippling interest’

also a neat double entendre with the word ‘interest’ being interest on a loan as well as the fans’ interest in him

This album was a massive slog to get through for me. Highlights were Chaos Space Marine, TPWHITB and parts of Basketball Shoes. 7/10

yea same here. the hype/sound kinda reminds me of The Most Lamentable Tragedy by Titus Andronicus in 2015, another album I found hard to get through and overrated
