This hurt my heart im not going to lie

  • Feb 9, 2020

I understand what the guy in the video and ur saying but it's not that easy to navigate that carpet at all, especially when theres only 4 black media ur going to see them less when compare to mutiple groups of big white media

I feel like the issue lies in there just not being enough black media on the carpet and there not being much big black media in general.

But on another note some of those artist did them dirty gucci, quavo, and gunna ain't have to do them like that

And then black artists have the audacity to say black media don't show them love. Or complain that most of their concert audience is white. Maybe if you f***in cornballs showed some love to your own, especially in relations to black journalists and media outlets, you'd start to see more of them getting boosted up and "infiltrating" (don't wanna use that word because it has a negative connotation to it, but I'm going to hope the black people on here know what I mean) those white spaces. So we'd start to see less "Oscars/Grammys so white.

It starts somewhere. And by constantly looking to the white media or towards white spaces, don't be surprised when things start looking less black, and you have to face the reality that even though your popular and getting the "love" from white people, you are still just a nlgger up against white people.

Howcome black Americans only make up 10% of the population but 100 percent of yall ITT black.

There's something fishy about these "he only called THAT black woman a burnt peasant so it's all good" argument.

    Sounds like a 4chan c***thing to say

It seems like a lot of brothers, or whites pretending to be Black, ignore when a Black Man does or says something obviously colorist towards Black Women, but when someone non black does it, then they see how f***ed up it is.

The "his gf is Black" thing matters none when there are plenty of Racist White People with Black kids. You can date or sleep with someone of a certain group and still have internalized hatred towards them.

    mctate

went to the revolt summit and shot on the "red carpet"

if you know how it works they stuff the smaller/unimportant media members together, which makes sense

they only have so much time before the event and they want to speak with only the biggest/most powerful outlets. and most of these (talkblackmedia? who the f*** would know them?) are unkown how would they even know?

trying to get the interview is like a bunch ppl being desperate as possible

I never did it because something got messed up but I’ll see if i can do it again this year

  • Feb 9, 2020

Judging the media circus on the carpet is difficult bc its pretty stacked against the artist but this certainly is sad to see.
