Blacc Sam said it was slated to be the next project but I’m skeptical
Exactly how I feel
It's a very decent project. Doesn't neglect Nip's legacy in any shape or form.
But it does feel a little discounted to me as a Bino Rideaux duo album. I know Nip & Bino were close though.
As Victory Lap was blowing up, I doubt a Bino Rideaux duo album was next on Nip's agenda.
It's not that far fetched tbh. It was probably planned to originally be a mixtape, just like No Pressure which dropped in 2017 less 6 months before VL. I could see them doubling back real quick to keep the streets hot while Nip worked on the follow up to VL.

Yeah I could have seen this as a warm-up mixtape before a proper follow up to VL.
You can tell this a posthumous album but Im still happy it dropped
My exact thoughts.
You can tell that there was some legit love and care put into the development of this album.
This album just makes me wonder how much unreleased music Nip had leading up to his demise? I appreciate the fact they ain’t rush to put out a Nipsey album right after he passed
