so wrong
You prefer Olivia's ballads over the ones on here?
I think lyrically, Billie's are far more mature and interesting. The production is way more dense without taking the focus away from Billie. Just didn't get the same enjoyment from songs like Lacy and Logical.
Would love to hear why my opinion is so wrong though!
This album got that brad taste in music guy to have his channel at risk, so i kinda hate it now
f*** labels
I love Olivia as, alongside Billie, one of the best popstars of this gen... But Billie knows how to write a f***ing GORGEOUS ballad. Olivia hopefully takes note for her next album. That was the weakness for her last album for me and it's a huge strength for Billie.
I can't even get into Olivia idk why
Always loved Billie even when she was pushed as an edm darling
I'm a casual Billie fan at best and I love this. Might be one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Every song stands out in its own way. And the production on this is incredible. Can't believe it's just the two of them.

I only see this as a win lol. He really rubs me the wrong way. He's crying on camera about not being allowed to upload "reviews" which are either him just listening along to an album or making fun of artists. Worst kind of music "fans".

Music streams where people talk about reviews should be allowed, esp because he doesn't keep them up. Why is radio legal?
What's ironic is he was listening to the album a second time with less joking and commentary so that he could focus on the writing of the album to give it more of a chance and the label was like "nope!"

I feel that, though Olivia makes amazing pop imo, her more upbeat songs are stellar.
Billie takes a lot more from rnb/hip hop while Olivia takes more from 90s/2000s rock, and they both excel at their variation of pop.
I just think that Billie has a level above Olivia in terms of actual songwriting and lyricism, and the slower songs like on this record really show that off, but Olivia is also quite a bit younger so it's understandable.

I just don't like him tbh lol.
There are people who do it well, but he comes across as smug and not for the art.

That's totally fair, but like....then he still shouldn't get punished if others do the same thing and it's fine
