I know a lot of people who watched movies like Marty Supreme based off Timothee being in it and Challengers, The Drama for Zendaya.

Nobody watching movies for the actors in the case of others, it depends on the IP and online buzz.
Like if Timothee was in Caught Stealing, I believe it would have done way better and if Zendaya was in some of those Sydney Sweeney flops like that boxer movie, it would have done better.

Obviously anecdotal but I deadass haven't seen a comparable fanbase to those 2 for the other actors in this list.

"A little bit of profit" is just unfortunately the landscape that exists today for most original films. Those movies wouldn't have did what they did if Zendaya and Chalamet weren't starring in them
