if youre fan of quality artists, then every single should sound better within album context

so why listen to it outside of that

The idea of singles comes from a long history of needed then to promote the album otherwise who’s gonna pay &13 for some s*** they don’t know what to expect from. I kinda see singles not being needed in today’s era but for some artists, it dies build that hype and promo. Artists won’t stop putting singles out just cuz of your listening experience

But he executive produced daytona, ksg, and ktse

And ye has never been listed as executive producer just cause the artist is signed to him, dsp and I decide for example, so he definitely involved

And I dont even think sean is signed to him no more

bro you gotta identify the difference between executive producing in the general term of being an executive at a label while an album is released under you, an executive producer that actually puts the album together and an executive producer who actually touches every track (which is what we saw Kanye do with those 5 albums)

like i said before, with all this stuff going on with kanye it’s hard to believe he’s actually guiding this album and his recent work makes me wonder if even want to hear music that was guided by him because musically he’s been losing direction

I'm sure it's a joint collaboration for executive producing, ye and sean have been spot together a lot in the past year plus. So they definitely been working on music together. And like I said before he guided daytona, ksg, ktse he definitely can help guide a good sean project. Especially since hit boy is helping it. It dont seem like a heavy course load for 2 years to be helping

    and 2015

Oh s***. 2013 too except Kendrick only dropped Control verse and BET Freestyle but both of those moments were such big moments it had the same impact as an album

  • We havent had a big moment in Hip Hop for a few months, pretty excited for this

wayne executive producing something is a whole flight of steps below kanye executive producing something considering Wayne can’t even EP his own albums

But in this case Kanye has EP’d multiple Sean albums and hasn’t influenced them production wise

we dont know that at all

just because you’re the executive producer doesn’t mean you’re making the beats, it means you’re making major creative decisions alongside the artist and it doesn’t even have to fit in with your own musical style.

Big Sean is the 6th most popular rapper who’s debut album is Post 2010

    1. Drake
    2. Future
    3. Travis Scott
4, 5, & 6 (three way tie). Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole

  • If the album is up to par with this track, I might finally become Sean fan

    Man was in his bag
