But i personally disagree with this statement. Having a child adds a whole new responsibility for both partners. Why would you want to have a child with someone you might not see a future with?
I don't think the child was planned tho. A lot of people get married to person they have a child with out of wedlock just because "that's what you're supposed to do" and end up with failed marriages because they don't put the necessary work before they fully commit.

Wear a condom, take birth control, etc. Idk I just feel like having a kid “on accident” is lousy in general - not just pertaining to their situation
