providerdamn. Yeah always heard of it but mostly always in a negative connotation, so I never had an interest in visiting lol
4chan was actually a decent place for discussing niche interests before the 2016 election. Nowadays, There are 1 or 2 infamous containment boards that are absolutely foul cesspits and leak onto all other boards, which has given 4chan an awful name
The posters from those cesspits are generally disliked out side of their respective boards, but can’t be properly banned due to 4chans flexibility when it comes to speech + it’s anonymous nature which serves as a double edged sword when it comes to discussion
Regardless, 4chan along with black twitter generates 95% memes we see

yeah i didn't get to see the site after 2016, but lots of ppl on there say that it's been ruined ever since trump became president etc.
it's mostly a lot of talk about "the jews" QAnon, conspiracy theories etc. pretty annoying.
the only part of that place i check regularly is the /x/ (paranormal) section, they are always discussing in depth esoteric s*** on there

It’s a very large forum, it’s cesspit boards are actually some of the most popular. It’s definitely not just a few, but all of those bad things you hear about the place are from those people
