The majority of the crowd at the concert and who the album appealed to was BLACK gays since the album was dedicated to her uncle and had a heavy focus on ballroom, voguing, and she even had a whole 30 minute segment of the show for her BLACK dancers, and BLACK backup singers that she found brought together and created a group for, to showcase their talents while she sat back and watched.

The country album was literally designed to showcase the roots that country music has from black people. She literally did it to piss off white people literally listen to blackbird off that country album you think was to appeal to white people.

There is no brand they are trying to sell. She has literally been standing on black pride for over a decade now. Yes, they love money, but if you think it’s some big ploy then you’re just being willfully ignorant and pushing aside ALL that she has done to showcase African American talent in all walks of life.

Niggas let the internet form their opinions instead of taking time to watch the hours of documentary footage and read the multiple interviews from her and people she’s worked with that emphasize her viewpoints and love for her people

I support many black artists, especially at the local level, and also recognize the efforts of those with a larger platform to showcase said talents.

My black band teacher friend and his HBCU band were literally personally invited by Beyonce to perform at Beychella. I don’t get why supporting Beyonce takes away from supporting black artists or why recognizing her efforts to showcase such talent makes me a “cult of personality”
