I think the production tries to do too much most of the time. She makes the most of it but you can also hear Bey forcing herself to match the overwhelming nature of the beats across multiple songs.
For me personally the vocal performance and energy is more important than the lyrics on this particular first listen. Very ambitious production but it pays off for me.
I will if I remember too after work.
Is this the official thread for the album?
Unfortunately
She can afford better writters like other times.

I get why Break My Soul was released as the lead single. Not too many songs on the album that can work as a single.
Radio single? Cause I can see the gp eating Heated up!
Unfortunately

Production the best part of this project
Agreed. Doesn't also mean it doesn't try to do too much most of the time.

But I guess the problem is the sound she went with, just like Drake.

I definitely applaud the energy comes with on the album, I just think she had to come with that energy because of the chaotic nature of most of the beats and I think some songs could have done without that. Still a pretty good album. It's just something that stood out to me.

Yeah, radio single. Heated is really the only other song I can see working as a conventional standalone single. Every other song really only works in the flow of the entire album.
It's just not for me lol
Need the next project already just like with Drake lmao

which song drake wrote?
Listening to the clean version now seems like they actually made it legit not just censored
Beyoncé is too old to be dropping these thot songs, need some 4:44 from her
you ever listen to Lemonade?
I'm surprised people are still finding ways to hate on this album. It's excellent and Beyonce's creative peak.
