then I think this would’ve been an absolute 10/10 masterpiece

This is a really good album. She's fully gone into the country genre, with her own twist, so you have to be prepared for that type of music. Just like how Renaissance is her dully felcing in to dance music. Amd she does it really well.

Lyrically it's very good and she has some funny lyrics that you wouldn't expect in ballad type of songs.

Jolene is done very very well. The collab with Miley Cyrus is a stand out. And the country fusion (country mixed with other genres) are innovative and feel fresh.

I'm not sure why but music is one of the fre professions or art forms (maybe hip hop in particular?) were aging is seen as leading to worse performance.

Anyway hopefully that is changing. Lots of older rappers are making some of there best music now. A motivated musician who's vocal chords haven't been damaged and has experience should be making good quality music.
