Definitely one of Neil's most consistently great and immersive albums imo. Relistened to it a while back and wow i don't see anything topping it for me either. Such a dizzy and heartwrenching record. Especially towards the end.

I wasn’t anywhere near as high on this album as their one from 74, but there’s still some great stuff on this.

hope the 24-minute track doesnt scare you off. they definitely upped the medieval/classic vibes on this one
last i listened I felt like Ashes Are Burning, Turn of the Cards and Scheherazade were about equal tbh maybe Turn of the Cards my fav
