what's the best Scorpions album in your opinion? I liked each album I've listened to but there was always something holding it back from calling it a masterpiece imo. Great band tho

Also, I like Judas Priest but to me they have two fantastic albums (Sad Wings Of Destiny and Painkiller) but the others are not on that level tbh. Wouldn't necessarily call them overrated (these two albums are too good for such a label) but a couple albums are imo.

Scorpions is kinda tough but I'd say Taken by Force is their best. and Love at First Sting is close. Their actual masterpiece might be Tokyo Tapes though tbh, you heard that?

and these days I'm def taking a few other Priest albums like Stained Class, Sin After Sin and Screaming for Vengeance over Sad Wings. and overall i think the catalog is def. one of the strongest in metal, i even think a lot of the lesser albums are actually good like Ram it Down and Turbo

yeah. not sure how much youll like the more commercial 80s era tbh but at least before that you still got a string of classics. Uli Jon Roth is an underrated guitar maestro

definitely in the top echelon of hard rock bands

almost done with Tokyo Tapes. Def their best record (In Trance, Taken by force, Love at First sting or Lovedrive are my studio favs). The guitar work is insane. If there's one thing this band alway had was an amazing guitarist but it's still outstanding. Even by their standards

Not including this on the album was a mistake. Roll Away The Stone is a perfect album closer, but this is a perfect final statement for a band.
