yeah they fit in good with some of the other german prog ive been listening to that feels a bit outside the main krautrock. like Eloy, they got a pretty good one for '73

yeah same with me for my big Hawkwind phase. you were definitely on to something noting how they were more similar to the krautrock bands than people recognize.

the second half of their 1972 album is pretty awesome, like I said definitely influenced by Saucerful but also giving The Wall vibes.
