start up Peter Hammill solo career then, hes got 5 albums all highly regarded from 1971-1975. none from 72 though. im overdue to dive
Caravan album is very good but not as amazing as the previous ones, bit of a change in style due to different keyboardist
heard any of these?
Khan - Space Shanty
Nektar - A Tab in the Ocean
Moving Gelatine Plates - The World of Genius Hans
Steel Mill - Green Eyed God
Premiata Forneria Marconi - Storia di un minuto
Älgarnas Trädgård - Framtiden är ett svävande skepp, förankrat i forntiden

yeah i guess Dave Sinclair left. and then he also was a founder of one of the other main canterbury bands Hatfield and the North...but then left them before they even released an album. ..then rejoined Caravan again
the member switching between all the canterbury bands is funny

he returned to make a semi classic in 1973 (For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night)
but tbh that one and Waterloo Lily are on similar enjoyment for me. both 8/10 but clearly not masterpiece. but the real prog and canterbury heads regard the 1973 as their 3rd best album
ELP album from this year pretty decent
