Kiln House was bogged down by Jeremy Spencer's s***ty fixation on the 50s but he had left the band for a cult by Future Games. Dannys writing, singing and playing all over it, sounds more folky and stoney.

Jeremy and Peter never played at the same time in the years before Danny showed up?

looks like Green supported his mid slide blues songs but not so much the other way around: "Green became frustrated because Spencer did not seem willing to contribute to Green's songs, whereas Green always played on Spencer's recordings where necessary." Spencer only credited with slide guitar so unless you hear slide guitar its not Spencer
i was never really wowed by anything on Spencer's songs, maybe Green does have some decent supporting parts in there but nothing holding a candle to the Green+Kirwan fusion in 1969-1970. Spencer was just pretending to be Elmore James over and over again

Wow Jeremy sucks even more s*** than I thought. If Peter wasnt so nonconfrontational he should've kicked him out of the band way before he left.
this non album single
typical tender Danny @HeyFella

your highlight?
Maybe the monstrous 25min rattlesnake shakes
but basically any of the non Jeremy Spencer stuff is equally great.
Their peak
green Kirwan insanity
