    not bad at all. kinda weird to hear him in this era with this sound though. if i listened to this blind i wouldnt even have guessed the artist

    Yeah I was thinking he's pretty well lost that tender nuance and that made his voice stand out but still quite good the first album he wrote all the material himself and it's pretty nice throughout. Elvis had stolen James Burton by this point which makes it even more impressive cause that was his right hand man in the studio for a decade.

    checked this album out yesterday it was alright. Burt was settling firmly into his MOR zone so it lacks the punch of her mid 60s stuff.

    might check out the one from last year produced by Chips Moman though he did big things for Elvis
