Ah nice I didn't realize this was their first single

I was actually going to make a post about the fact that it's just dawning on me that a ton of these singular psychedelic albums also had corresponding singles and b-sides.. which is obvious but I just hadn't looked into every one of the million bands that dropped a notable album yet. Still firmly in the era where you had to drop a single or two first.

Time of the Season topping the charts in March 1969 hurts my feelings could have came out fall '67 maybe even summer if the record company didn't twiddle their thumbs

Would love to see how they would have followed up that album if it was successful.

Potentially something really tasteful like how Pretty Things followed up S.F. Sorrow with Parachute or how Beau Brummels followed up Triangle with Bradley's Barn
