yea i've seen some interviews of him recently he didn't age that well. plus his voice is cracked

i swear you cant think of anything related to crosby without thinking of his personality

I felt like I brought up a lot of his underrated incredibly tender lead vocals with the byrds often enough

Also Lady Friend is a cataclysmic masterpiece nobody payed attention to which legitimately makes me feel bad for him

Also his rhythm guitar

easily the best vocalist/songwriter of CSN

On that note the final minute of this is one of the more underrated guitar moments of the year McGuinn a gem

you're gonna have to put me on to some his hollies stuff cause he never did anything for me in CSN or his solo career

Super Session is the only other thing I've heard by him, might throw it on right now

nah i feel like Stills has gotta be a better writer

I guess it's whether you prefer his contributions to BS over Crosby's to the Byrds. both wrote some solid songs for CSN(Y). to me Crosby gets the edge because of If I Could Only Remember My Name.
haven't listened to any Stills solo efforts though. heard bits of Manassas but not for me

over all Crosby's songs or maybe equal with like Crosby's best one or two. Stills def the MVP of CSN (including all his instrumental contribution) so thats more what pushes him over. i didnt really f*** with his s/t very much tbh but I like Crosby's a lot
