Blade Runner 2049 is overrated as a HDR reference grade movie, it's basically SDR brightness, barely gets over 200nits at its brightest

Strictly for stupid HDR visuals/easy picks
Pacific Rim, Aqua Man 1 & 2, Mad Max: Fury Road, Gemini Man, any John Wick
I'll add more later when I'm with my Terabytes

what about og blade runner? im unfamiliar with this stuff, but it looks incredible on every oled panel i've ever seen it on and ive seen that joint like 9 times

and my suggestion for op would be a stan brakhage film to really test out the colors

I was gonna edit my post to note that OG Blade Runner has serious HDR brightness
    But my browser refreshed

Imma come back in the evening & check my drives & see what's really popping to share the recs

  • Mortal Engines for digital and Ben Hur for a***og films.
