Arsenal seems great for a war film, but Zemlya hits harder than Joe DiMaggio

Was looking at King Vidor's wikipedia page and onto the Unproduced Film Projects section where he's almost going to make a film called The Actor. Which it primarily a biography of James Murray who starred in The Crowd, but he died later in 1936 from drowning after declining health due to alcoholism. Yet King is haunted by James Murray's decline and death.
That could've a pretty interesting film if he can actually make one as his last.
