Lang was very potent but kinda gave off a light fascist vibe whereas Murnau was a sensitive artiste was recently reading some history about how Lang's flight from fascist Germany wasn't as cut and dry as the history books make it seem and I think he snuffed out his first wife so he could marry Thea Von Harbou (who wrote all his scripts then stayed to do Goebbels propeganda)
