journalist, DJ... maybe visual artist. I do make all my artwork rn which isn't anything super special so far but yh. dream job tbh would be videographer for concerts and making lil concert films...

also I'm a VirtualDJ so far only hahaha, this one too prerecorded from home on my s***ty laptop. actual real life gigs are on the horizon tho, the connects I made thru the interview stuff are opening up some pretty crazy opportunities. in that way journalist / DJ is a pretty cool combo tbh. also just very natural extension of it, or maybe a more creative way to engage with music I love. the writing about it also has a creative element to it ofc but this feels a lot more vulnerable

the live radio thing won't be a regular thing at all I think, kind of a one-off for now. many more mixes in the pipeline tho. new emo ambient next month, and I'll finally tackle this NTS mix for bloodzboi now too

I give some opinions on pop and play big tunes I've been wanting to play out for a very long time. also cheers for your support, it's a bit crazy / sad how much better I feel rn having her out of my life for good, she did at the same time also make me who I am today. I would've never even pursued interviews if not for her ngl. that relationship was 2 years of absolute bliss, then 2 years of hell... many good lessons tho ig

That's awesome! I do some visual art as well, lil 3d animations and models along with some graphic design. I do "everything" in music besides DJing.

Yeah your journalists posts and your rare concert footage uploads etc. is how I first noticed your stuff. Also shout out the Nicolas Jaar interview you did, I always love his work. Space is Only Noise (the first thing I heard from him back when it debut) and Sirens are my favs by him!

And I def understand that with your Ex, it's tough but if it was as bad as you mentioned earlier with the narcissistic and manipulative tactics then you are def better off finding someone else. No matter how hard it is it is possible to get over and to also eventually find someone else

That's dope, sounds like DJing is fairly new but that's sick still. I do "all forms" and have worn all hats of music creation except DJing personally.

My irl work is animal training and animal raising + mixing/master for clients and additional production work, sometimes full beats, in Rap, RnB n Electronic spaces for many years, used to work at a studio but had to leave during Covid due to being an at risk health issues person so I moved to more home based and 1 n 1 clients n of course online. Then my own stuff that is electronic n dance centric.

I would love to eventually work at a studio again or some kind of label, indie or major, n gonna start searching around next year and using my new project as part of the portfolio since it's all mixed/mastered, written/performed and produced by myself (no samples or loops, original production using both digital and physical gear - recorded at two studios in AZ and CA). Being at a label or studio working again as an engineer and/or producer, or the of course unicorn position of being an actual artist. But I would love to be at an actual consistent full station again and starting to miss it lmao.

yeah I cant take pictures our anything but I did some scenic painting in Mickey Madisons characters apartment that will definitely be "hero shot" work (meaning it will be in the immediate background of major scenes). don't thing people realize theyre gonna have a Best Actress winner trapsing around on these sets either lol.

already drumming up some controversy because they re-enacted Jan 6 on at our art gallery and some footage leaked 2 days later lol;

just uploaded to soundcloud the version which aired live, I improvised a ton. I was still recordig my prerecorded mix until 20:05 and stream started 20:00 lmfao. I sent 2 files of 25min to my ex to play. this is just both these files.

but still I think it turned out perfect. I'm keeping it as is now cause radio is more fun messy and live anyway.

one of my fav bits is that I got an exclusive radio tag by my fav Palestinian rapper rknddn lol cause he follows my stuff too.
