greatest song of all time maybe
!https://youtu.be/wy5iwc1NwXgthis song in the middle of the night >>>>
My BH album ranking:
1. Devotion
2. Depression Cherry
3. Thank Your Lucky Stars
4. Teen Dream
5. Beach House
6. 7
7. Bloom
8. Once Twice Melody
This band bounced back stronger than ever after Bloom ended up being a washout (imo) AND Victoria also losing her voice only to have their most-current sound feel so creatively bankrupt.
I think the band dynamic might be holding back Tori cus the solo material she had put out for a fashion show (years after 7 released & years before OTM) sounded so refreshing and raw.
If they announced a new album, I’d be like "ehh we’ll see", but if she announced a solo album, I’d be jumping up & down lmao
depression cherry felt like i was having an awakening the first time i heard it. an experience i wish i could relive over and over again
So good
not trying to be a contrarian but their first two albums just got something that their post-Teen dream albums dont, so warm and romantic

The pre-TD albums are definitely their most intimate-sounding.
TYLS felt like the closest project to recapture that mood, but it still had that "rebellious edge" to it.

The later ones got me into the band and still some of my fav music
But as I get older I come back to those first two way more than the rest

Devotion at #1 is so incredibly real
