@op im dealing with the same issue. I wanted to quit fapping to increase my sexual confidence/self-esteem and now that I’m trying, I just realized what a huge problem it’s been. I didn’t even realize how addicted I was until I started trying to stop. I’ve spent a week trying to be masturbation-free and I’ve failed every single day.
my advice is to start by cutting back and limiting yourself instead of trying to quit entirely all at once. the first few days, I was beating myself up for caving but now, I’m patting myself on the back for being able to restrain myself to only doing it once today
