yeah after watching the trailer a few times in 4K my main concerns are complete lack of cover in the maps, the graphical fidelity, and zero destruction shown
i played BFV on my 4K TV and then watched the YT video right after (albeit with compression) and it almost looked worse than BFV in terms of textures/lighting
we've seen cases time and time again (especially recently) where games preview their "pre-alpha" when in reality it's much farther along than a typical pre-alpha, and much doesn't change, so it's a bit worrying
physics looked f***ing incredible though
as for gameplay, there was literally no cover in the desert portion of Hourglass, the area at the base of the skyscrapers and surrounding them was completely bare; on top of that, no destruction was shown
it seems like EA is hiding something with the way they're moving honestly
why no gunplay or destruction shown in a Battlefield trailer? is the game half-baked?
overall, im excited but cautious

Wait for ea play
Here's a hint... it's really Battlefield 2024. WW3 will begin in 2024
👋🏾
This aint reddit man keep your conspiracy theories away
looks like the weapon customization feature in game makes it where you have to choose which attachments to bring with you instead of changing to any attachment
Played some BF4 tonight. The new map from the trailer reminds me so much of Dawnbreaker. What a classic map.

Lord willing 2024 is incorrect, we're living in the time b4 His 2nd coming. Something to be mindful of.
There are certain videogames, movies, artworks & books that passively explain upcoming events.

SHUT THE F*** UP
bout to play some bf5 to prepare for this monster.
Bf5 sucks lol
nah man. it's good
I feel like Battlefield is just not a good series to go back into the past, not anymore. I tried playing BF5 before I started up BF4 and it’s just not good. BF4 is a little clunky in 2021 but the scale, guns and combined arms is just so much better than 5.
BF1 was pretty decent though.

bf5 had my favorite maps of all time. b3 is a personal fav because it was my first, but i never cared for bf4 or hardline. bf1 was good because of the guns and rupture, that's it.

Why don’t you like 4? And yeah Hardline is forgettable

The movement always felt clunky and it had the worst group of maps in any battlefield game I've played. Lancang, Paracel Storm, Whiteout, etc. Ugh
just watched the gameplay trailer
the tornado looks sooo fun lol

I mean compare this to the BF5 “gameplay trailer” that isn’t even gameplay
They are showing way more than last time and s*** they had half of the devs working on this game instead of fixing BF5 after it launched
And why you worried about gunplay the gunplay in BF5 was the one thing they got right

yeah im not super worried about the gunplay because it's tight on BFV, was just weird that they showed only 5 seconds of it in their gameplay trailer
im more concerned about the other things (destruction, graphical fidelity)
I hope they show a build that's much further down the pipeline at EA Play, because the pre-alpha build they showed is at least from a few months ago (based on its leaked screenshots)

Yeah I’m curious to see destruction. I was on Reddit and people were b****ing that they got rid of destruction. I hope that they are just keeping stuff close to the best cause the gameplay trailer didn’t show anything.
