Genuinely don’t understand what the fuss is about.

The Flash was a development hell nightmare movie, where the problems went far deeper than the directors and writers.

The movie had already went through like 5 directors and even more writers before Andy Muschietti, and Christina Hodson signed on to the movie.
DC specifically wanted The Flash movie to be a Flashpoint Paradox movie. That wasnt a decision by anyone creating it.

I wouldnt hold the quality if that movie against anyone who worked on it.

Both director and writer have made good stuff before. Idk why ppl always look at The worst projects instead of their other well receive stuff

Yea The Flash was kinda nightmare scenario. 5 different directors, 45 different writers, studio mandated plotlines and controversial lead actor, and 10 years of development lol

Yeah. The writer, Christina Hodson, actually has a fairly alright resume. She’s the sole writer on Bumblebee, which is widely considered the best Transformers movie. And personally i thought Birds of Prey was pretty good movie.

She has some s***ty horror movies under her belt. But she seems to be more in her element writing for nerdy franchises.

The Flash would have been a mess regardless of who worked on it. And even then its not in the “worst of all time” zone of Superhero films. They did what they could to make sure it didn’t go into the “all time worst” hall 0f fame of hero movies.

I remember one of the few points of praise was how Andy directed some of the early Batman scenes. Which is probably why he was picked in the first place lol.
