Robert Pattinson especially doesn’t seem like he wants to be tied to a franchise for like 15 years.

I think Batman 2 or Batman 3 will be it, and that would have been the case with or without the DCU

I truly do not envy whoever takes on this role because they will be endlessly compared to Robert Pattison while also sharing the big screen at the same time as him. I have no idea how they're gonna make this work. It'd be the first time this is ever done with a super-hero

I think after reading the new Batman #1 this weekend, I can see that we probably should have a Batman that can interact with a giant monster Killer Croc (for example) but not lose the edge.

I mean hey, anything is possible still. This can fall apart and Matt can open up. But I think Matt explicitly stating that it’s Elseworlds at the Emmy’s kind of shifted things for me a bit

Hell even if Matt does his story and trilogy, the DCU can make that soft canon and keep Rob
