Nah I can see it. Barbarian and Weapons were both solid to me but I dont have them as high as everyone else

Given how laser focused it seems, all the people involved, and its self-contained scope, I could see this being one of those “perfect movies” where it excels at pretty much everything it’s going for.

I’m really interested if the ending I saw is what gets released. The vfx was really unfinished for a movie that was coming out in two months (a lot of people seemed sure it would get delayed based off what we saw) and from the people I spoke with afterwards it didn’t seem like it went over super well.

If it’s a dark ending I can see it being polarizing as hell.

Apparently the vfx is being done by Weta (Avatar fame) and large parts of it are practical, so I imagine on that front everything will be ace.

Yeah I trust it’ll look great because the first half of the movie looked great. But like 75% of the climax really looked like the second step from this image. And that was just two months before release. So I just wonder if they were testing out an alternate ending.

Possibly, Cregger said in an interview he’s specifically proud of the ending because he was unsure if they would be able to pull it off.

I think he said something along the lines of it came down to the wire before they submitted the finished film.

Based off what the ending probably is, and how the movie was made/what they decided to focus on, of course it'll be polarizing. Shouldn't end any other way though

I’d rather have quality movies that mess up lore than whatever we got with literally every resident evil movie up to this point

I think pretty much every one of Cregger’s scripts have leaked at this point, unironically.

I don’t know how it keeps happening unless the dude is doing it himself.

Haven’t read the script but I get the sense that this a movie that is dependent on how everything comes together in the end to properly evaluate it as opposed to just consulting the script as a primary indicator of the final film.

It very much appears to be leaning into being an experience alongside being a well-constructed movie.

I haven’t read whole script just know primarily of ending because it’s being posted often on Twitter by people who read script . Some posting it as “ I’m guessing the ending “

I like it as an ending and I’m in for the journey more than any ending with a movie like this . Interested to see how people react to the movie
