i've been reading zach basically say this exact same thing for over a year atp but it gets me hype every time

Like someone said who saw a test screening, it’s like After Hours with zombies.

My issue with this is the same issue I have with any film that gets obsessed with “respecting the source”: It’s just gonna make you wanna play the games instead

So that test cut they showed like just a couple of months after production wrapped was basically the finished cut?

Also, where the f*** is the new trailer man?

My source says it’s RE but like you I’m confused why it’s testing so late. I’d be nervous about quality but someone that saw it already said it’s the second best thing they saw in a test screening all year

ngl i feel like this is barely gonna feel like resident evil but will be a good film regardless

Couple of comments I’ve seen from people who apparently attended those screenings say otherwise.

I could see this as sort of an Odyssey situation where you really got to experience it from beginning to end.

im intrigued in the movie either way so

Would be kind of a neat marketing idea to get a sort of grassroots type hype going, random secret screenings held up until the full release, having people sign NDAs where they can’t say anything too specific, but they can give hints.

Got to see Cregger so that was pretty cool
