The f*** even is RE canon? S*** is the most retconned universe I can think of.
RE has an…interesting fanbase. I can guarantee they are going to nitpick every detail in this film
Legit feel like you throw a licker in this trailer and suddenly all the doubters would be soyfacing.

That's kinda how it goes when you're adapting s*** lol

Ehh I feel like most of the fanbase is pretty chill and f***s with most RE content. Then you have the outliers that say s*** like "RE4 ruined the franchise" or whatever
The movies/shows are something you roll with or you dont but I dont see why you'd want a 1:1 remake of the games anyway. Theyre just interactable movies at this point.
never played RE before. should i start with the original versions or are the remastered versions good enough?
Didn't he say that this isn't really trying to be canon at all and it's just "in the world of it"? I don't think this is set in the 90s, he has a cellphone
Flip phones existed in ‘98 lmao

The crash outs I saw during the Requiem leaks when it was revealed that Claire wasn’t in it.
Christ. I swear there were real tears.

Remakes are great. I’d say, if you want a “Greatest hits” run through, start with RE2R, then RE4R, then 7 into 9.
7 is great and will prepare you for the first person perspective of half of 9.
If you want that CLASSIC CLASSIC s*** you should also try RE1 Remake at some point, but maybe not as a starter.

Remakes are a good way to play it for the first time
The originals have tank controls and preference in that varies person to person. The games since 7 and the 2 remake are either First Person or Third Person with more modern controls
RE 1 Remake still has the tank controls but it’s such an incredible game
When Alice drops in on a motorcycle in the final act

"You're getting evicted" shoots rocket launcher
doesn't look bad but why is this a Resident Evil movie?
this was me when I watched Until Dawn.
except it was dogshit
The shot in the tunnel reminds me of that scene in the Northman when he gets the sword. What a vibe
Can't wait for the POV shots. He's already sprinkled a few in his past 2 movies. Time to redeem the DOOM film.

I eat my words too, they sayin this is straight up set in re2 now. Feel like that's different from what he was saying initially but f*** it, in
What’s great is knowing that, based on test screening reactions, this movie is already certified LEGIT.
