It’s not like the writers are going out their way to be funny like American Dad or Family Guy. KOTH just provides comedic relief every now and then. That’s a real ass show. Boomhauer and Bobby are funny but one is just country as f*** and the other is just a kid

Eh....Family guy's alright but it's way too reliant on cutaway gags and grossout humor. Some of the comedy is very forced and disrupts the flow of the whole episode.

That's lowkey why people often reference Family Guy bits, memes, and short clips more than actual episodes.

I feel prime Simpsons, King Of The Hill, South Park, Futurama, and American Dad did a better job at balancing comedy with stellar and consistent writing.

Also, Robot Chicken was funnier strictly in terms of jokes too despite being more of a sketch comedy.
