I think Family GUy is funnier because its more of a sketch format but American Dad has really fun writing while retaining the a respectable amount of comedy

Should’ve put a bit more respect on American dads name because I do remember watching it and having a good time

peak simpsons clears. the writing on that show was impeccable.

It was funny for like 3-4 seasons

South Park was definitely good for longer. Hell, it had a 10+ year run churning out half a dozen good/great episodes a year. These days it takes Family Guy/The Simpsons a few years to do that.

Peak FG vs. peak South Park was close because South Park has always been spotty as hell but it's really amazing how long South Park kept putting out relevant content.
