Gotta resist the urge on getting this game; I do not have the time for this in my life right now
It’s a good think I’ve got a job, because otherwise my ass would atrophy playing this s*** when it drops.
i wanna get this man but idk if i’ll like the combat i’ve just never played a game like that but the game looks so good
Seeing people online not realizing this is a isometric turn based rpg
And who can blame them. A game of this genre never looked like this. Larian ahead of everybody
Is there no preloading fr? Steam servers really gonna be f***ed up if everyone's downloading 150gigs off it at once
Luckily release time is 1am for me so I can just sleep but damn lol

No preloading. Having the early access version installed doesnt even lower the 122gb
122gb *1000 means 122000mb. I downlod on average 12mb/second makes 2.8 hours meaning I will be able to play at aroumd 19:48 at earliest

If steam servers crash tho
They survived worse
If steam servers crash tho
gonna take two months to beat it anyway
how bad is it not playing on SSD
No issues for me (on early access)
I expect the loading times to get worse in the later acts similar to divinity os2 but I dont really care about that personally

okay good
I hope to God there aren’t any broken side quests, but given the scope of the game I feel like that’s a borderline impossibility.
It would be a miracle for this game to not be at least somewhat broken on release, especially in the late game.
for those looking for an okay succinct breakdown of baldurs gate cannon.

This is where I'm at right now. Tried divinity on steam but refunded it because I was so overwhelmed. I love rpg's but these games might be a bit much

Overall this game will be alot more accessible towards newbies to this genre. It will have the best presentation, cinematic storytelling and an easily accessible combat system because the HUDs and impact of spells are easy to understand and well animated
That being said I would still recommend waiting for sale or at the minimum reviews if you are completely unfamiliar or had a difficult time with dos2
