So astarion is a top
I love this f***ing game. Im getting better now, but I feel there's definitely something I'm not doing.
I went through another playthrough and realized I completely missed an entire dungeon below the blighted village and all kinds of s*** wow

Apparently the density of Act 3 in the city is absurd. City is nearly the size of Novigrad from the Witcher 3 but every building is enterable, and a lot of them are multi-storied.
Can’t believe this is an actual real game, and given the density and scope, it excels on almost every front.

its honestly overwhelming.
The game also gives you a bit of a false sense of urgency after Act 2 combined with the worsened performance I feel like many people rush through the act a bit more which is understandable
I would just advise people as always with these games to slow down a bit enjoy the journey, maybe take a break if you feel fatigue from the game which happens often in a long game like that and its a very enjoyable act with the exception of maybe the ending

Yeah I have a feeling rushing act 3 is common for people too. Cuz if act 1 alone took me 32 hours, and act 2 is comparable, I’ll be on act 3 around 60 hours in which is a looong time for a single playthrough. I’ve already been tempted to start another playthrough with different consistent party members but I know if I do that I’ll never beat the game.
I think your advice of taking our time and taking breaks if need be is the smart move.
I've played maybe 2 hrs of BG3 and it didn't feel like 30 mins. Combat and controlling your squad is kinda complex on a controller but im getting use to it. 2hrs and im pretty sure I've barely started the game yet.
This is gonna be an incredible game

Time absolutely melts with this game. It’s actually kind of scary.
You’ll feel like you barely did anything, look at the time, and then realize 5 hours have passed.

Ridiculous, for a real time strategy RPG,combat is super satisfying, right now,im basically on quest to go get the flayer thing out of my head. Already recruited like 4 people on the way.
This bullshit f***ing forge.
I get him down to the last lever smash and the team somehow collapses everytime

Fr? Damn i got him second try. Just positioned all my characters in the 4 corners before starting. One on the lava switch and one on the hammer switch. Range attacked him to bait him over the hammer

It really be. I just now got to the second act and I probably put in a solid 30+.
Trying to turn a statue for a puzzle, everybody failed the athletics check to turn it because it was jammed/stuck.

hahah there's actually a note somewhere in that building that mentions throwing grease onto statues but it doesn't actually hint towards that specific statue
