Origin character epiloges
They must have a significant amount of people on deck rn to get feedback changes ready to implement already.
Like goddamn.
Hopefully itâll be out at least by the time EA drops on Sunday.
Probably dropping today or tomorrow
When is the earl access out?

For digital deluxe I thought it was saturday
I'm having mixed feelings on shadowheart doing the trials
Do I have to do the trials to progress her storyline?
Do I have to do the trials to progress her storyline?
pretty sure you have to do the trials to continue the whole story
They are absolutely not hard tho and very short
Cast invisibility on your character for the first. Beat the fight in the second and the third is just straight up walking on clearly visible platforms for 10 seconds
So, what can you expect from us in the future?
First:
we'll keep on monitoring what bugs you encounter and we'll make sure to patch them as fast as we can.
Second:
We'll start making improvements based on the feedback you're giving us. Baldur's Gate 3 means so much to a great deal of you, and in turn that means the world to us. We love this game and we're not done with it yet. We welcome your feedback, your threads, and also your words of encouragement.
Withers' Wardrobe of Wayward Friends
Once again, thank you for giving us so much feedback. It's incredibly motivating for us and drives us to do better and better.
We've been asked if we're "going to be patching in the cut content." We think we understand where that question comes from, now. We're going to be looking at Act 3, figuring out how to make the final act & epilogue land in a stronger way. But there's more than that. Karlach's new ending, our performance fixes, and our event trigger solutions are the first step in doing that. These are coming with Patch 2.
We've also got an internal version of what we're calling Withers' Wardrobe of Wayward Friends which we hope to launch very soon. This feature allows you to get rid of co-op party members who join your campaign, so you can continue on without them. We're also working on the ability to change your characters' look once you've started a campaign, though we don't have a release date for that yet.
There's a lot to do. There's a lot to play. Clearly, Baldur's Gate 3 means so much to a great deal of you, and in turn that means the world to us. We love this game. We're not done with it yet. We welcome your feedback, your threads, and also your words of encouragement. We do ask that you phrase your feedback in a way that makes it easier for us to parse, rather than untangle, but that's a small nuance. We hope that as a group you all feel listened to, and if at any moment you do not, please never hesitate to let us know.
We're looking forward to the future of Baldur's Gate 3.

Apparently some of the âcut contentâ is due to bugs resulting in things not triggering.
Man, Iâll be shocked if they can get this patch out by Thursday.

Minthara they specificially mentioned was obvious when you had her in your party
but I also think that their companion system in the background could just broke a bit. The game has insane amount of paths and always has to be careful with what reaction it can trigger when to not lose context. For example when a certain character is dead the game has to strike instantly all the dialogue that wouldnt make sense.
I can see that leading to stacking issues later on. Its not noticable (since people didnt know it was there). There was a video of party banter and I feel like quite alot of those dialogues suffered from that issue

Wonder if theyâll have the post-game slides included in the patch.
At least we know for a fact theyâll be working on Act 3, which makes me wonder if theyâll even do a Definitive Edition or theyâll just update it up until a point.

The second is about the epilogue. Whatâs been datamined is not really cut content but content that we didnât want to release because we didnât think it worked. Weâre pretty strict with ourselves and our ideas. If it isnât good - if it isnât fun to play - it doesnât make it into the game. One of the reasons why we trimmed the epilogue is because we were afraid the ending cinematics were becoming too long and would detract from the epicness of the experience. But clearly, not everyone agrees with us! So weâre going to do something about it.
I doubt that. But its gonna be soon in some capacity. Clearly not the datamined versions

I donât know if I 100% buy that, because reactions were so universally negative toward the lack of an epilogue that the idea that theyâd cut it almost entirely because they figured it was âtoo longâ doesnât make any sense at all, especially given how long the game already is.
Thatâs a crazy thing to cut.

I guess but can I say they probably bugged out of them
once again this a super complex game. I can totally see certain epiloge scenes triggering when none of the stuff thats being said happened for the player.
It sounds like they had a system but that sadly didnt work and now they will rethink the way they do it. Since there is no way this game was supposed to launch without epiloge tiles when literally all their games before had them

1500 missed lines of dialogue?
Also says at the end that the patch should be out this week.

Iâm assuming that that isnât just speculation on the writerâs part.

Wonder how theyâre gonna dole this stuff out.
Like piece by piece, or one big chunk?
Itâs gonna make replays really weird if theyâre adding not insubstantial content to the game on a semi-consistent basis.
I have to believe itâs gotta be the latter, because imagine you just renter Act 3 and an update drops that adds stuff to Act 2 that you canât access because of decisions youâve already made, and now imagine things like that happening multiple times.
