I remember playing Dark Alliance I and II back on my PS2 when they came out as a kid and not understanding anything, but still lovin the fantasy setting.

Didn't even know this was coming out this year, but after checking out the glowing reviews and gameplay, I think I'll be getting this day one for my PS5

Feel like some people force a bit of competiton between Baldurs Gate and Starfield but in the end we should all be happy we get 2 games of this level

The gameplay feels like clunky ass so far but I'm really digging the story and character interactions. Reminds me a lot of Dragon Age Origins.

I’m assuming you don’t have much experience with CRPGs? Especially turned based.

Controller support is apparently really good if you haven’t tried that.

Just KOTOR and Dragon Age, and FF Tactics. I don't mind the system it's just the camera and movements still feel wonky to me. It's not enough to kill all enjoyment for me though.

That’s par for the course with CRPGs, they’re pretty much all isometric.

If you aren’t already, I’d recommend trying controller. Larian is best in the business when it comes to having good controller support for these types of games.

I played with a controller for a little bit and it made the experience more casually enjoyable but it's hot ass compared to mouse and keyboard for overall gameplay and fine tuned actions.

When I was play Everquest in 2003 when I was 10 years old BG3 is literally the game I dreamed of playing. Insane what Larian did here.

She’s an obnoxious a****** but I tolerate her for now cause she’s really good in combat. Plus it’s fun to choose the options that make fun of her cause she gets all flustered. Basically a more d***head version of Sten from Dragon Age
