@op thoughts on the docs?
episode 1: was dope taking a step behind the curtain of his life and seeing where exactly he comes from even before he himself could make sense of the world around him. was dope getting his familyās perspective as well as Kendrickās āolderā yet young nigga perspective of how he was perceiving the world around them that Keem couldnāt
episode 2: learning about his mom and the end of this episode was sad as f***. the scene with the mom walking off with dude and finessing him, seems funny but really itās a sad place to have to be in that came full circle with Keem explaining how he had to lie to sell candy and make money in the last episode. canāt believe this nigga was pretty much an ATL water boy āIām trying to get to this basketball camp in the fallā lying ass poor kid lmao
episode 3: really brings everything together before we experience the project he has ready. this doc seems more ārecentā in the way itās presented and i like hearing about how Keem and his friends perceived the DAMN years as well as his SoundCloud days and how quickly s*** changed in a few years for him after proving it, but how sad the reality of life still followed again with his grandma passing.
i think itās wild to see how heās presenting a story that kinda juxtaposes the terrible reality he came from but how much itās not much different from the present reality heās currently in. even when he was younger and had nothing, he was losing loved ones. now that heās older and has everything, heās still losing these same people and essentially in the same place emotionally without the struggles of their past life distracting him from focusing on its effects on his mental, like Dot was saying in the 2nd episode.
long story short, Iām excited for the project. been waiting for him to dig this route since saying he would on Melodic Blue
he really got RosalĆa on a song just to say āIām a hot girlā
