    I’m confused what you mean

Mr. Morale touches on plenty of topics about the 2020s

And besides, all of his projects are mostly about his own life & experiences: why would he have to release an album about the 2020s?

idk how can touch on many topics of the 2020s with an album dropped 2 years in lmfao

the only 2 songs that’s really talk about the decade on there in N95 and Worldwide Steppers. everything else are past trauma reflection records

gnx is an album inspired by his uncle and a bragging reflection on what it means to be from Compton

Mr. Morale is reflecting on overcoming the traumas of his environment up until that point

he still hasn’t done an album speaking on this decade directly like he was on watch the party die or on damn

He touches on Covid & Trump & cancel culture numerous times on that album, those three things have been at the center of most Western issues this decade

But even if it didn’t: why would he have to drop an album about the 2020s? All of his albums are about his own personal struggles

because he’s great at social commentary

because he’s great at social commentary

Yes, he is, but he always intertwines his social commentary into his overarching personal narrative. He’s never dropped an album that was just a blanket statement social message about the decade it was released in.

GKMC is about his upbringing in Compton

TPAB is about his relationship with his community after his newfound fame and the survivor’s guilt that he felt

DAMN. is about numerous things: fate, religion, morality, duality, fame, etc. and how these things contributed to the direction his life went

Mr. Morale is about generational trauma, healing, and the pressure he felt with how he was viewed in rap

GNX is about his relationship with rap music and also a regional love letter to West Coast rap

Why would he be expected to drop an album about the 2020s following these?
