the new songs really don't just sound like a carbon copy of country or anything. it's funny to see some country fans try to say the songs aren't even country at all while at the same time non-country fans claim they just sound like generic country

is she inventing a new genre? no. but it sounds like beyonce and country at the same time which is fresh enough imo. especially considering the album itself will have more blending too

this is a tangent but did she actually say the "brown" part? like it would actually be cool to have something about mexican contribution to country music and the whole cowboy/western aesthetic that we never really hear much about. i think there is only a handful of latino country singers in history i can think of though, more in the crossover genres like texmex or something
