But fr that album and Mr morale were both not up to his standards of LP, no matter how good they may be, he is going against some of the greatest recorded material of any music genre with his first three albums (4 if I count OD which is my favorite work of his lol)

don't know how to say it without coming off as hating but it's his "easiest" listen i think, doesn't mean it's bad or not as interesting as his previous works, i like it much more than morale although morale arguably has higher highs (but much lower lows)

That’s not what he’s saying lol He didn’t say anything about not having help. He’s been vocal about how Kendrick and the PG Lang/TDE network has helped him since GNX. He just said he took advantage of the looks he got and locked in for his career.

He didn’t just pop out like a plant he been around for a bit but the GNX feature and him associating with Dot was the moment it clicked like a lot of artists have his moment.

Only one that kept momentum outside of him would be Lefty Gunplay but his music and fan base is super west coast
