Reading
A bit of gaming here and there
The only thing I do everyday is music though
Reading (not limited to just books) - been reading a lot about religion, physics, music.
Making/playing music - been cooking my album for 3-4 years now, also just grabbing a guitar and learning a song you love is very satisfying. Blunts be lit during these processes.
I need to do better with hobbies. Also something I have a goal set for and being held accountable for with my therapist as well.
My goal is to be more social and center the social things around things I enjoy
Currently it’s really hard for me to do that cause I don’t really relate to people outside of my original friend group who I don’t live near anymore
My hobbies lately have just been video games (lol), coding / learning new coding languages, and that’s about it. I do get out in the summer time and try to go on nature hikes and be by the water, but I live in an area where it’s basically cold 7 months out of the year so…. A lot of time to not be doing any hobbies in the outdoors
Thankfully I have a wife so I’m not lonely per se, but I am lonely in the friend department. Sucks
Dude don't get too caught up in the social component.
My opinion is, even tho we're a social/tribal species, too much socialization can distract you from doing and/or finding things you are passionate about.
Solitude gives you the time to process experiences and reflect.
Also, idk how old u are but u married so, at a certain point being "lonely in the friend department" is just the way it is. Everybody got s*** to do and lives to build, people grow out of the teenager/young adult mentality where you seemingly got lots of f*** around time.
