His schemes on Already Home are among his best and a great song at that. Masterful. Perfect Cudi feature. Hovs impact and adapting the sounds of that time doesn’t get enough credit, love BP3

Already Home is his best writing on BP3 along with A Star is Born. Jay's most underrated quality is adapting his sound and staying current without it sounding forced or like he was chasing trends most of the time
Dirt off your shoulder so hard
so few artists can have a song where they rap their ass off at the elite level he is on dirt off your shoulder while still keeping the song cool and listenable to people that wouldn't necessarily appreciate the flows and everything

It gets written off as a copy Kanye album but BP3 is fire.

it was mostly produced by kanye and everybody that he was working with at the time he basically did 808s, BP3, MBDTF, WTT, and whatever GOOD Music albums came out between them without stopping the sessions were shared so production could be similar but the only song that sounded like a kanye song was Hate

I agree. This rhyme scheme >>
But, like, 52 cards went out, I'm through dealing
Now 52 bars come out, now you feel 'em
Now 52 cars roll out, remove ceiling
In case 52 broads come out, now you chilling
I'm braving temperatures below zero, no hero
No father figure; you gotta pardon a nigga
But I'm starving, my niggas, and the weight loss in my figure
Is starting to darken my heart, 'bout to get to my liver
Watch it, my niggas; I'm trying to be calm but I'm gon' get richer
Through any means with that thing that Malcolm palmed in the picture
Never read the Qu'ran or Islamic scriptures
Only Psalms I read was on the arms of my niggas
Tattooed, so I carry on like I'm nonreligious
Clap whoever stand between Shawn and figures
Niggas say it's the dawn, but I'm superstitious
S*** is as dark as it's been, nothing has gone as you predicted
I move with biscuits, stop the heart of niggas acting too suspicious
This is food for thought—you do the dishes!
Gotta be top 5 greatest rap intros idc
had a friend who loved this one
I was hoping someone posted this before I would

Don’t forget about thank you every verse on that was impeccable

The Hov hate be real, how he catch flack for having a producer he help put on and make a superstar mold the sound of his album? Smh
Tryna think of Jay songs that haven’t been posted but if I slip up lemme know

Had to start off with this one right here, He was talkin his s***.

Jays always gave you a sentimental joint too, got me wanting to walk my moms though a house I bought for her too

R.I.P B.I.G the commission would’ve been game changing

Love streets is watching but I honestly bump Streets is talkin way more, that vers mentioning his pops is legendary. Every Jay and Beans collab is fire matter of fact

Let’s go Black Album

I understand why he closed with “My 1st song” but Allure was really the best closing
He had sumn to two step too

Don’t forget about thank you every verse on that was impeccable
“That was the first time I saw Kanye tell Jay-Z how to rap. Ye was telling him how to approach the song. It was so weird because who would’ve thought Kanye would be giving Jay-Z rapping tips? Laughs That was another one we did in Hawaii. That’s one of my sleeper favorites from my catalog.”
