Wouldn't really be surprised if it does tho. Just like people show up for Spidey automatically now, people will for first Avengers film in 7 years. Its essentially the same crowd + other MCU fans who might have dropped off. Then when casuals see how packed theaters are over holiday season they'll want in too. Very lucrative time

Yeah I think ppl like us are greatly underestimating the “first Avengers film in 7 years” aspect

It might not be the satisfaction of a years long build, but i think they def cracked the code and the overall feeling for Marvel is back. By release period people will be binging relevant films and theaters will pile up

Spidey had a significant hype surge those last 10-14 days that allowed it to make historic numbers. We're not close to there for this yet
