It's a bit complex considering they migrated from India but have been in Europe for ages now. They're definitely not treated as whites from what I know and certain countries even list them separately from white, black, etc.

I do still think the accent works in this case cause while doom is ethnically romani, nationality wise he's Latverian. Which is just a fictional eastern Europe country. So Rdj just doing an Eastern Europe accent is fine to me
