    Don’t think so

He eats planets and would spare theirs if they gave him their son to take his place

    Agree to disagree

He was given basically zero backstory and was barely in the movie. There was also no real context behind his exact reason for wanting Franklin and his powers

I don’t think backstory for a villain is necessary. That’s really only when you’re trying to make the villain sympathetic. Think about some of the great villains we know little about. Hell, Galactus was given less backstory in his first comic appearance that this is adapting

It was explained why he wanted Franklin and his powers tho. First act of the movie was almost entirely focused on if Franklin would be born with powers due to his parents. Their very first meeting with Galactus he tells them that Franklin is hiding his powers from them and has the power to take over as his successor. This is all explained in dialogue

Anyway not trying to change your mind on the movie just explaining how general audiences were able to keep up and not get confused

Yeah even though he had limited scenes. His presence is felt. Especially with a lot of the movies dealing with the infinity stones

  • So who we thinking is on Doctor Doom side before joining the heroes?

My guesses are Steve and Reed

  • some of the best cgi i ever seen to this day and its from captain marvel

  • Dear lord please give us our queen back

  • Doom in this new trailer has a Bane like presence from Dark Knight Rises. He's literally the Avengers reckoning.

this is what bugs me because its not a goodbye to some of the X Men I really wanted to see one more time . Its a goodbye to Professor X , Magneto who weve done this with a lot. Mystique in an odd costume. Gambit a joke character who I hope we never see again in any form reference or further joke.

Yeah its kind of funny that Feige is acting like there was no build up and it was just the sitting in the chair now. Not that the chair and infinity stones was a perfect build up but it was something. I kind of figured once they knew Kang was even possibly out they would have planted better seeds of Doom

I think if they had just planted some seeds of Doom then revealed RDJ Doom in a movie to the audience rather than through press the feeling would be a bit different

I really believe they were gonna have Doom be a surprise in Kang Dynasty and be the one to beat Kang and create battleworld I just don't see them giving dooms biggest story to Kang and it would've mirrored doom defeating the beyonder in the original secret wars

Think they established it with Dark world/GotG, but i dont think Loki's scepter and the Tesseract weren't introduced with that idea.

Have we seen Doom in person three times before his movie like Thanos? Nah, but the danger of the multiverse has been around since 2021 with Loki and No Way Home.
