It’s pretty unfortunate that my two main positive takeaways from this trailer are things I already knew/strongly suspected before going in: I’m gonna enjoy the RDJ performance regardless of context, and Florence Pugh is so f***ing hot

Outside of that, didn’t feel much.

As an MCU guy, this trailer is… fine

The most exciting thing is seeing & heading RDJ’s take on Doom, he looks and sounds great

Everything else just looks okay. The over reliance on Thor & Steve is a bit disheartening not only from a creative standpoint but also a health-of-the-MCU standpoint.

What I’m hoping for most from this movie is a great RDJ performance, a serious tone, and a legible story. If it delivers on those three areas, I'll be satisfied
