I already addressed this. Yes it happens every iteration, it’s supposed to happen, it’s a canon event. Doesn’t mean how it happened was well written
Tobey’s Spidey was cheated out of money he was owed and let the guy who robbed him get away
Garfield’s Spidey let the place get robbed and the criminal get away over chocolate milk he couldn’t afford
Tobey’s situation is sympathetic while Garfield’s is just entitled

Indirectly got his Uncle killed because the gas station clerk wouldn’t give him chocolate milk he couldn’t afford, promises Gwen’s dad on his death bed to stay away from her for her own safety, breaks the promise by the end of that same movie, Gwen ends up dying proving her dad was right, weak parents spy storyline
All he has is cool web swinging scenes and a fire suit
