thegreatdivineIt'll gross over a billion and there'll be a lot of talk about Marvel being back but what they're doing right now is the equivalent of putting a bandage over a bullet wound. Marvel's issues post-Endgame are much bigger than they think.
I imagine in Doomsday, they're gonna pull Steve Rogers back from not long after he returned to reunite with Peggy at the end of Endgame (so I imagine he'll have to go back to her and grow old after the events of Doomsday and/or Secret Wars). Also, with RDJ's Dr. Doom being the new big bad, he'll have to be killed at the end of Doomsday and/or Secret Wars. All the old-ass X-Men characters they're bringing back also can't keep going for long so I imagine they'll also let go of them after Doomsday and/or Secret Wars and so after the next 2 Avengers movies, Marvel is right back where they started.
They'll still have to start afresh with a new generation of characters fans can fall in love with again to build the machine back up to the beast it was at their peak in 2019. That will take a lot of time, thought and planning and I don't understand why they don't just start doing that now, instead of playing this game with diving headfirst into fan service/nostalgia bait. It's obviously not a sustainable strategy.
They ruined their brand by streaming too much content.

Black characters
I think most of the "gang/crime" related black characters that are dope have been used, I know luke cage show had cottonmouth, black Mariah, etc.
So I think in terms of wanting to use characters that haven't been used, I think you'd have to go for the powerful henchman/hitman types. Rocket racer, bushman, barracuda (a good setup for punisher coming and f***ing the whole narrative up), even the black dude in the wrecking crew would be cool. Or just having a character like the classic Power Broker would be good, could do an origin of a character similar to Cloak and Dagger's where they're poisoning the youth. Lots of ways to do it
